It's When Your Success Matters!
Several years ago, I met two business women, who were about the same age and each one was making a fortune buying, selling and investing in real estate. Janet and Jasmine didn't know each other and lived thousands of miles apart, yet worked their businesses with the same business model.
Years later, after experiencing the effects of the real estate crash and the tremendous financial debt incurred by the government intervention in the mortgage and banking industry both Janet and Jasmine had to make hard choices.
People have the power to choose, what people don't have is the power to choose the consequences of their choice.
Janet couldn't let go of her power to control and produce money and kept doing business with money as her motive. She fought a hard fight but the consequences were not profitable. She complained about the country, financial institutions being dishonest, and her lack of money to meet her high overhead. Her few clients were cancelling their deals. Business was all about Janet and her money.
Jasmine took a different approach. She studied the marketplace and listened to her clients. Many had lost jobs, had their homes foreclosed, or illness due to the stress of the economy. Jasmine downsized her lifestyle, and cut her overhead costs by working from home. She gathered as much money as she could and bought foreclosed homes, did the repairs before reselling the homes or rented the homes at prices her clients could afford with option to buy. She became the mortgage holder and used a portion of the rent for her client's down payment, and went even further. She educated her clients about how to regain good credit to be able to re-finance with a bank.
What was the difference that made Janet eventually file bankruptcy, and Jasmine grow a slow but steady business? The answer is the attitude and flexibility to adjust to the economic climate. Janet cared only about getting her money. Jasmine cared about helping people start a new life, and to re-create hope for her clients.
People become what they think about. People choose the greed of money or choose to share their money by helping others. Money is a powerful tool. The thoughts and intent about money manifests the worries or rewards that people attract. It is the wisdom from God to create benevolence. People choose the way they live; and experiences the consequences of that decision.
Doing business in the economic recession takes careful thought and planning. But it also takes another level of awareness. The awareness of how people think. Thoughts become things. Learn to manifest the good in life by becoming aware of the present moment when doing business or when living life on a personal level. Happiness is created by the happenings of life, and people choose their direction daily, moment by moment.
